Yeah people, yeah...
I've just finished my grammar test.. *yelp*...What I have always been struggling to memorise (but always forgot after a test ends) for the past five years, have come and haunted me again.
Those listed here are some of the accused..
Suspect number one : common nouns
Suspect number two : singular nouns
Suspect number three: coupling verbs
Suspect number four: helping verbs
and lastly, Suspect number five: simple adjectives.
Apparently, these "words", they are not ordinary. They are just like humans (or people). There are those common nouns who walk you by along the streets, and the singular nouns,heartbroken, eligible, or too young for anything, whose opposites are married, and coupling verbs, who are going to be married maybe next year, or not. There are those helpful ones, they would make your bed anytime, and those simple adjectives.. are almost like the common ones, but are a little different because they live extraordinary lives ,but choose to be simple, and be happy with it.
They are all actually really nice..infact, they make great friends. "What's the problem then?" you might say, well, I'll tell you..There are just too many of the like, and when you have to memorise every single one, it's hard to actually tell them apart! That's the whole big problem.
My apologies, nouns, verbs, verbs, nouns, and everyone of the eight parts of speech. But you puzzle me sometimes. I'm not exactly a very good memoriser. I hope my brain can keep up with your very many different characters, as I continue to learn about the life of Grammarworld.
