Humanity?

What is beautiful we destroy.
What is living we kill.
We ask for love but don't give it.
We ask for peace but never live it.
We rush through quiet moments,and name it sad.
We want more but don't see what we've had.
We dont realize that the earth is under our care.
When will we ever learn to share?
When someone needs help, just give it.
Didn't you once too receive it?
When you see rubbish, pick it up.
There's always somewhere we can start.
Why do we take and never give,
And yet wish to truly live?
